Houston Hair Color and Cuts Hi! I’m Alicia Drew. I have been in the industry for 14 years, striving to produce quality hair in a fun, yet relaxed, environment. I specialize in fashion colors, corrective color, and barbering, but enjoy all hair services, from color and cut to styling and updos. The past couple of years I have been more involved in independent education and hair shows and conventions. I love my career and am always excited to get involved in new facets of it. I hold a B.A. in Psychology in addition to my Cosmetology, Barbering, and Massage Therapy licenses. Overall I have a desire to add something positive to people's lives and am welcoming to all individuals regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs and social class. Client satisfaction and comfort are my top priorities, and I treats all my clients like they are old friends. I’m very laid back but also have a bit of chaotic energy. Tipping I’ve decided to move to no tipping in 2025 Tbh I hate tip culture It’s weird that we build our pricing around the assumption that people will give an extra expected amount on top of the asking price. It often leads to awkward situations when people don’t know what the tipping etiquette is or don’t have extra money to tip and then you are left hoping they are happy with the service. Upfront pricing Pricing will now be upfront and all inclusive. “Tip” will be included, and I will pay the taxes and processing fees. I personally feel like that’s the cost of operating a business and don’t want people to feel like they can’t pay with a card without being charged extra. I know I love my points and cashback bonuses! You are always welcome to pay however else you would like (besides a check). I accept zelle, Venmo, cashapp, PayPal, cash. I will also be accepting afterpay. Budgets are good! While hair is a luxury service and I have to cover my ever growing expenses, I do my best to be conscious of the economy and the fact that people have wildly different incomes and expenses. I want to be fair and be able to work with everyone to achieve your hair goals! So please never hesitate to ask what options there are to stay within your budget. Let’s talk options! There are definitely tons of options for vivid panels and partial highlights, lived in color, dry haircuts, etc to keep your costs lower. Especially with creative colors, we don’t have to lighten every time! Many placements offer 3-6+ months between lightening appointments! I have a neverending wealth of color ideas. Let’s collab!y Hourly pricing All of my corrective color and creative colors services are priced hourly. $130/hr is my rate. This includes lightening, toning, vivid colors, bond builders, etc. Not pricing everything a la carte allows me to use anything and everything needed to lift and color your hair in the safest, healthiest way possible without nickel and diming the service. Timing I am a quicker stylist on average and have often been told similar color experiences have been double the time in the past. These services take 3-5 hours on average, depending on the state of the hair and previous chemical services, along with how in depth the color design is that we are wanting to achieve. All hair is welcome I have 14 years of experience behind the chair and keep up with education all year round to ensure I’m up to date with latest techniques, tips, tricks, and products. I am a creative and corrective color specialist, but I also do sooooo many blonding services, so please don’t think the hair you want is “too boring”. I love all haircolor and am happy to create natural palettes as well. I have a special place in my heart for auburn and copper colors so I’m stoked to do those as well. Deposits $100 non refundable deposit will be required to book large color services. $20-$50 deposits will be required for smaller color services. This will go towards the cost of the service. You may move your appointment twice before forfeiting your deposit. Love letter to my clients Thank you so much for the continued support. Cancellation Policy
I have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. You agree to this when booking your appointment. While I understand that things out of our control do happen and I try to work with people to the best of my ability, if you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance (and have zero flexibility about coming in later that day or any time I may be able to fit you in) there is rarely an opportunity to fill that last minute spot. This takes from other clients who may have wanted to utilize that time, and I lose a substantial chunk of income for the day.
You will be charged 50% of your missed services.
No call/no shows will be charged 100% of missed services before being allowed to rebook.
